Bessemerskolan has about 1000 students distributed across 12 programs. The school is a national sports gymnasium for orienteering and has two nationally approved sports education programs in floorball and bandy. Our programs are housed in beautiful and functional premises, and there is a large and modern school library. You have easy access to buses and are within walking distance to the city center. We are looking for someone who wants to work at a school that is in the midst of exciting development work, where teaching is the focus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to work at one of Sweden's best industrial programs where several students have achieved high placements in the National Skills Championship in welding? We are now looking for a teacher in welding and sheet metal processing with good professional skills and a strong interest in working with tomorrow's welders and creating a good and stable future for today's youth. We expect you to enjoy working in a team, be flexible, responsive, and have a strong drive and interest in welding and education.

In addition to your pedagogical side, you must be structured and meticulous regarding planning and teaching, and preferably familiar with relevant digital platforms.

Furthermore, we would like you to have many years of experience in the industry and be well acquainted with the local companies in the region that are relevant to the program.

We expect that you are willing to study to become a vocational teacher if you lack a vocational teacher's degree.

QUALIFICATIONS

Welder/Sheet Metal Worker
Several years of industry experience

Meritorious:
Vocational teacher's degree
Degree in IWS
Experience from a supervisory position

We expect you to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
